To create a new Task you will need to navigate to the Task section and then press the +.  You will then be provided with the Task entry screen ready for you to complete.

Task#    
Unique identifier for the record, generated by the solution
Title Title of the Task
Status
Current status of the Task - initial status is 'New'
Priority*
The priority of the Task
Assigned To
The Person assigned to complete the Task - this can be an internal or external person to your organisation

Either type the name of the Person directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Person using various options.
Use the + option to create a new Person, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.
Expected Resolution Date
The date the Task is due to complete
Severity*
The impact of the Task for your organisation
Description
Detailed description of the Task specifics
Project*
Identifier of the project the Task is in relation to
Reporter
User that created the Task - your name will default automatically
Associated Contracts
Multi-select of Contract(s) the Task is pertaining to

Either type the name of the Contract directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Contract using various options.
Use the + option to create a new Contract, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.
Type*
Type of category the task is pertaining to
Third Party Reference
Third party reference if given
Monitors
Multi-select of Person(s) assigned to Monitor the Task progress - this can be internal or external person(s) to your organisation

Either type the name of the Person(s) directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Person using various options.
Use the + option to create a new Person, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.
Associated Parties
Multi-select of Party(s) associated to the Task

Either type the name of the Party(s) directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Party using various options.
Use the + option to create a new Party, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.

                                                

All Value Set contents (Other than Status fields) can be adjusted to contain values pertinent to your organisation in the Value Sets screen.
