To create a new Task you will need to navigate to the Task section and then press the +.  You will then be provided with the Task entry screen ready for you to complete.

Unique identifier for the record, generated by the solution

Type of Task

Priority
The priority of the Task
Status
Current status of the Task - initial status is 'New'
Related Entity
The Contract or Party that the Task should be associated to - default is 'Contract', click in the field to display a drop down list of values that can be selected.

Click in the field underneath to display a drop down list of values for the entity selected i.e. Contract records, if you type in the field then the list will update to try and match your text to a value.

Use the '+ Add New ..... ' option from the drop down list to create a new record if required, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.


Use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Contract/Party using various options.
Assigned To
The Person assigned to complete the Task - this can be an internal or external person to your organisation

Either type the name of the Person directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Person using various options.

Use the + option to create a new Person, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record.
Monitors

Multi-select of Person(s) assigned to Monitor the Task progress - this can be internal or external person(s) to your organisation

Either type the name of the Person(s) directly into the field (if known), or use the magnifying glass to display the 'Find' screen to be able to search for the correct Person using various options.

Use the + option to create a new Person, once saved this will be allocated to the Task record
Task Date SettingChoose a date to trigger the Task - default will be todays date, but can be set in the Future
Recur RuleTasks can be set to recur within certain time period
Do Not Recur
Choose if the Task should only trigger one time
Recur
Choose if the Task should trigger again after a certain time period
Until
Specify an exact date the the recur trigger should complete
Until
Specify a relative date that the recur trigger should complete
Indefinitely
Recur trigger should never complete
Expected Resolution Date
The date the Task is due to complete
Description

All Value Set contents (Other than Status fields) can be adjusted to contain values pertinent to your organisation in the Value Sets screen.
