Once a Task is created it can be edited if required.  If the Task Date Setting value has been reached then the Task Date Setting field it will no longer be editable.

You can continue to edit the other fields an in the Task, if specific values are updated then they will trigger email notifications to the 'Assigned To' and 'Monitors' and will add a note to the Task sub tab 'Note' .

If you change the status of a Task then a pop up will appear for you to add to the Note text, if required

The email notification will reflect the status change information

If you change the Priority of a Task then a pop up will appear for you to add to the Note text if required

If you change the 'Assigned To' value in a Task then a pop up will appear for you to add to the Note text if required.

The new 'Assigned To' person will then receive the initial Task email notification, as will the 'Monitor' with the new 'Assigned To' person displayed.


Task Notification Bounces


If for any reason an email notification is bounced the 'Communication Enabled' tick box against the Person record is automatically set to 'No' to prevent any further bounces - this must be set back to 'Yes' once the bounce issue has been resolved so they can continue to receive intelligentcontract email notifications.
